ACS 3.2 Database Replication

Hi All,

At our environment we use ACS 3.2 running on Windows 2000. I have a second ACS server that was never activated and I was now put in change of its activation.

ACS 3.2 is installed on this second server. My question is regarding database replication. How do I make sure that the database will replicate from the existing server to the new server and not the other way around?

IFrom what I read it has to do with the order the servers are added on the Sync Partners box. Am I on the right track?

Thanks,

Jose Ribeiro

the order should not be matter.

There are two things.

1. In "Replication Components", you can specify the ACS will send or receive.

So, in Primary, you need check "send"  and in the secondary you need check "receive"

2. In partner, If you want this ACS to receive replicated database    components from another ACS, the sending ACS must not appear in    Replication list of this ACS.

So, in primary, you need move secondary ACS into "replication" box. But in the secondary ACS, it should be leave as blank.

Please refer to configuration document for detail.
