Solved: Cisco Catalyst 2960G WARNING: The switch is not usable

Hi,

I am having an issue with a working Cisco Catalyst 2960G.

I have amber lights with System and RPS.

I have connected it through console. At least the OS gets started. However, the following message appears:

!!! WARNING: The switch is not usable !!!

Agreed , the switch is no good . Get it RMA'd....

This is a hardware problem on the switch. You should get it replaced.

Hello Team,

May i know why and how it is happening cause of any miss config .?
i saw some file as renamed
will it happen because of rename of a file while reseting password ? or doing some other wrong configs ? or it is completely due to the HW issue ? how we can fid the reason behind HW failure ?
