Hi

I have an issue about DTMF.  I have call manager 7 and unity connection 7, one of my H323 voice gateway using FXO port to connect a GSM module.

When call coming from FXO port, the call will divert to an IVR which configure on UC. People can hear greeting however when they Press option unity can't recieved DTMF tone.

On gateway I can see below debug:

*Sep 15 03:06:01.089: htsp_digit_ready(4): digit = 5
*Sep 15 03:06:04.009: htsp_digit_ready(4): digit = 2
*Sep 15 03:06:04.729: htsp_digit_ready(4): digit = 2
*Sep 15 03:06:05.509: htsp_digit_ready(4): digit = 3
*Sep 15 03:06:06.181: htsp_digit_ready(4): digit = 1

Hi there,

I noticed that you have bumped up gain to a very high value on the incoming port:

voice-port 4
supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
no battery-reversal
input gain 14  <-----!!!!

Any particular reason for setting it so high ? Even for  low incoming volume, its set too high

where it can not only distort dtmf but also introduce audio issues such as echo.

I suspect this is distorting the DTMF and its coming in too "hot' now...

Can u set it to default and test?

voice-port X

shut

default input gain

no shut

Hello Victor,

On your outbound dial-peer  can you add 'dtmf-relay h245-signal h245-alphanumeric'  instead of 'dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric'. And see if that helps.

Thank you jaschulz,

It looks like no change here, I wonder if relate to some timer setting on VG or CM.

Hi Dilip,

your are correct, I change input gain to adjust volume before, the Gateway is in Philippin and our call manger & unity connection is in Australia office.

After set it to default, now I can recieved DTMFas below...however call can't divert to internal extension for some reason. If people in Philippin dial 7771 from deskphone which reigstered to call manager in Australia, call can divert without any problem, however if call make from outside go through FXO port...it can't divert to.

any ideal about that?

thanks
