Hello support,

We want to installed ws-x4548-gb-rj45 card on existing Switch.

What kind of step i follow.

We have two super visor engine IV 1000Base X

Do you have a free slot? Then just plug it in, it's hot-pluggable!

If you want to go extremly sure, then get a maintenance window for this.

Thanks for replay,

Actually we have two supervisor engine.

and we have enough space for card. could you suggest us if there any precaution ?

any changes on supervisor engine ?

Just plug it in , it's not disruptive . Then configure the ports the way you want

them ie such as the correct vlan , spanning tree portfast etc....
