Configuring Internal Services Module (ISM) with CME 2901

Hi all,

We are trying to configure ISM with CME 2901. We have not found any documentation for it. The only information we have is to configure the module. We have done that already but when we login to the module (using service-module ism 0/0 session), we can only see either the module is in boot-loader or keep rebooting and saying that the unable to load image. This is the first time we are trying to configure it. If anyone can guide us in the right direction, it will be great.

Thanks.

Hi Imran,

Which App (CUE, AXP etc.) are u planning to run on it or it currently has?

SRE install guide is at:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/interfaces/software/feature/guide/ism-sm-sre.html

Pl. provide more details so that we can get u pointed to proper info.

DK

Hi Dilip,

We are planning to run CUE on it.

Thanks,

Imran.

Hi Imran,

You'd need CUE version 8.x for ISM. Download all files to FTP root and then simply issue

one command from the 2900 exec mode (# prompt)

Example:

All details u need are at:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel8_0/install/installsre.html

Let me know if u have further ques. on this.

Hope this helps.

DK

Imran.
