Can you provide a basic config for a cisco 3660 with a cable modem?

Hi Jonathan,
You really need to give us more than that to be answer you to the full extent.
First of all... what is the current config on the router?
Is there a LAN already configured?
Which portion do you need help with?
Which interfaces are you using in your setup? What is the inside interface and what is the outside interface?
If you can say attach your current config and tell me your exact needs ... we can take a shot at resolving your problem...

Hi Jonathan,
Configuration steps for HWIC-CABLE are documented here:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_4/12_4x/12_4_6xe/snwshoe1.html
However, I don't see 3660 listed as supported platform:
Cisco Router | WIC | HWIC |
---|---|---|
8151 Note The HWIC-CABLE-D-2 is a fixed-configuration card and is not field replaceable. The HWIC-CABLE-D-2 card operates only in WIC mode with 8-Mbps throughput. | Yes | No |
1800 | No | Yes |
IAD24311 | Yes | No |
26911 | Yes | No |
2800 series | No | Yes |
3700 series1 | Yes | No |

Cheers
Marco
