Solved: tracking and ip sla monitoring

Having a syntax issue, not sure about it.

#sh version

ROM: System Bootstrap, Version 15.0(1r)M6, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

System image file is "flash0:c2951-universalk9-mz.SPA.150-1.M3.bin"

ip sla monitor 1

brings back 'invalid input'... so "ip sla ?" only gives

"key-chain" and "responder" as options...

Also:

track 1 rtr 1 reachability

brings back 'invalid input'.... "track 1 ?" gives

"interface" "ip" "list" "stub-object"

I'm trying to create an sla monitor for failover.

track 1 rtr 1 reachability
delay down 15 up 10
!

ip sla monitor 1
type echo protocol ipIcmpEcho 1.1.1.1 source-interface ethernet0
timeout 1000
threshold 40
frequency 3

!

ip sla monitor schedule 1 life forever start-time now

Something like that....

It's a brand new 2951.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Check the license from your 'show ver' output; IP SLA requires data license package.You need to buy the data license to active the feature. You can use the evaluation license to test, but eventually you need the license to active the feature.
