Hi All,
Is there a way to restrict certain phones from sending caller ID to same PSTN e1 gateway H323 In CUCM 7/8.
In CUCM there is calling party presentation field on GW it self - though this effects all phones if we select off.
The requirement is to allow certain phones and to restrict others.
So for example a subset of phones do not display a number to called party and the others do.
restrict : Ext 4444- cals 888111111 via PSTN the called party see from Private
alllow: Ext 4444- cals 888111111 via PSTN the called party sees from 2122224444
Also In nothing is put on the specific phone such as mask it displays the main number
thank you

Not that I`m aware off if you would something from a service parm level but from configuration you can
First ask your Telco to allow CLI to be sent by you
Option 1-Manual
Set up two duplicate Route patterns 9 ( to send CLI) and *9 (to block) and set the Presentation level for reach route pattern- tell userd which one to use for CLI or no CLI
Option 2-automatic
If the user, phone who wish to send CLI`s are fixed, known then as above but create another Partition called ALLOW CLI. Copy your existing Route pattern and assign the new partition to it. Now copy the CSS you use for PSTN access and rename as ALLOW CLI and replace the existing Partition you use for PSTN access with the new one ALLOW CLI . Now assign the new CSS to any user who wishes to have CLI to be sent.
hope it helps
