Corrupt IOS on 3750.  How do I view and delete files to make space in Recovery mode (System: ) to Xmodem an IOS?  I see the directory that I need to delete files, but can't CD to it so I can delete files. Failed twice during the xmodem copy, not enough space to load new IOS.

Hello,

When you do a recovery from the switch mode (when you load the image via xmodem), it will automatically format the flash and load the new image onto the flash.

NT

It aborts the modem copy with a not enough space available.  So I need to delete some files to make room, and that's where I'm lost.  I don't know the command to change directory so I can start deleting.  I didn't try the format command...humm.

Hello,

Please try the following:

switch: dir flash:

Directory of flash:/

    2  -rwx  12272570            c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-52.SE.bin

    3  -rwx  616                      vlan.dat

  397  drwx  64                       crashinfo_ext

   401  drwx  128                    crashinfo

    7  -rwx  3096                     multiple-fs

  410  -rwx  109                      info

    9  -rwx  1951                     config.text

19919360 bytes available (12594688 bytes used)

switch: delete flash:/c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-52.SE/c3560-ipservicesk9-mz.122-52.SE.bin

That should work.

Regards,

NT
