Sizing circuit for redundant power

I had a question on the sizing of circuits for redundant power supplies with dual inputs.

If I have two power supplies, each with two inputs and each input says it draws 12A, what size circuit do I need?

My thought is if they are in redundant mode, that only one of the power supplies should be drawing 24 Amps.Is that a correct assumption? Does the other power supply draw a significant amount of power or is it neglible when it is in redundant mode?

I'm trying to size out the UPS and circuits and want to see what the max number of amps drawn would be when the power supplies are in redundant mode.
