Connecting a wireless router to a wired router

I have a Linksys/Cisco BEFSR81 cable/DSL router with 8 port switch.  I need to add wireless capability to the system so I can connect up to 11 computers in my home.  Is it possible to attach a Cisco WRT400N dual band wireless N router to one of my ports on the BEFSR81?

If this is possible, would there be anything else I need to do to make this happen.  This will allow all of our computers and laptops to share the internet connection.

Hi there,

You should be fine.

I would set a static ip address on the wireless router with a default gateway of the DSL modem, you could also hard code the duplex and speed on both sides, because your using a N router which is probably 1000MB and the Cisco DSL modem is most likely 100MB.

HTH, please rate below if so.

Regards,

Justin
