Reset IDSM2 post Signature Update

Dear Frdz ..

Would like to know ,Do I need to reset the IDSM2 version 6.2 after signature upgradation to be effective .

I wounder ,after upgrade the new signature is showing in IME but not sure if I need to restart after upgrade .

HI Manik, No you dont have to reset/reload the box for signature/upradation or autoupdates to be effective, is your problem that CLI and IDM/IME is showing different signature version ?if yes then you may be hitting

CSCsq53214 IPS reports different sig version in CT and CLI

Check show version and see if it shows the correct Sxxx

Our IME tool is showing the correct signature version (S513)and the CLI sh version is shwoing following output .

Hi Manik, CLI as well as IME both shows S513, so you are good
