WIP310 Firmware upgrade fails ...

Hi -


I have a new WIP310 and I attempted to upgrade the firmware.

The update application says the upgrade was sucessful, but now the screen is blank.


The phone appears to turn on, and all I see is a while screen.


How do I fix?

Running the install again did nothing.


I returned the phone to the place of purchase for a replacement.

Hi,


I also executed a firmware upgrade because it was failing to connect using WEP-64 Open (Sprint 4G HotSpot Sierra Wireless).

When using WAP, I managed to connect it and even register to my Gizmo5 account.


After the upgrade, I never saw again the blue "Cisco" screen when powering it up, it was always blank.


I repeated the process, this time on a Windows XP computers and nothing happened.


But the phone is working... I even managed to switch networks using the Setup Wizard (WIP310_WiFiWizard-1.0.17).


I'll try now to access the phone by HTTP...

HTTP access is working, but there is no option for factory reset, just voice parameters.


Unless there is an upgrade for the firmware / software, I'll have to return this phone.

Dialing blindly I confirmed that the phone can place calls...

Also, using Google Voice, I confirmed it can also receive calls...

It is just the "graphics driver".
