CUPC incoming call notification issue and removing 9 from IP Phone display when called

Afternoon all,

I was wondering if anyone knows why cisco personal communicator removes the zero from the incoming call notification. This issue only impacts an incoming call from an external number.

Also, I'm not able to remove the '9' from the display of an IP Phne for an incoming external call.

I'm running CUCM 7.1(3)SU2.

Any assistance would be apprecaiated.

Regards,

Jamie

I'm not sure what you mean by removing the zero from an incoming call, is this the leading zero(s)?  Is CUPC in deskphone (CTI) or softphone (SIP) mode?  To remove the leading 9 from displaying on your IP phones, I'm guessing that's there for dialing from missed calls so you don't have to edit dial, you could look at application dial rules to prefix the 9 instead of adding it to the calling party number so it's not seen.
