Hi Expert,
I have attempted several times using LMS 3.2 RME Software Repository Job to add a 3750 (Master of a stacked-switch) IOS Image file to CiscoWorks Root Folder on the server.
Below is the partial job result log that I copied out from RME/Sofware Mgmt Job.
Connecting to the device using TELNET...
Connected successfully.
Importing the image c3750e-universal-mz.122-52.SE/c3750e-universal-mz.122-52.SE.bin from the device flash1 into the Software Repository.
Image will be copied to rep_sw_4613229738041682149 using TFTP.
Copying c3750e-universal-mz.122-52.SE/c3750e-universal-mz.122-52.SE.bin from flash1 to tftp://152.226.1.170/rep_sw_4613229738041682149
Failed to import the image c3750e-universal-mz.122-52.SE/c3750e-universal-mz.122-52.SE.bin from device.
See D:\PROGRA~2\CSCOpx\files\rme\jobs\swim\1298\cat3750E-S0-ER1_telnet.log for the output from the device on which the image transfer failed.
Image Import Operation Failed
Please advise.

RME is trying to copy the image to tftp://152.226.1.170/rep_sw_4613229738041682149 . Is that the IP address of your RME server? Is TFTP allowed from the device to the server? This means that udp/69 needs to be open as well as all ephemeral UDP ports.

Hi,
I cannot telnet from the switch to server with port 69. Below is the error log after i run the RME
Device: cat3750E-S0-ER1 Status: Partially Successful

No, you won't be able to telnet to port 69 since that is a UDP port. You should try doing the copy operation manually from the switch to the RME server to make sure it works. Check with your network and security teams to confirm that udp/69 and ephemeral UDP ports are open between the RME server and the switch.

Copy tftp to LMS did not work as well. Customer informed that there's no blocking of port 69 as well. Any other useful logs that can help?

If the manual approach also fails (times out), then something is definitely blocking the ports. If udp/69 is not blocked, check the ephemeral UDP ports (high UDP port numbers). All of them must be open, too.
