Hello,

I have the following configuration for NEXUS 2000 single homed :

interface port-channel103
  switchport mode fex-fabric
  fex associate 103

Does the best practice is to configure this port-channel in trunk and define the vlans allowed or keep it like this ?.

Thanks a lot,

Regards

David.

Hi David,

What you have configured is good. Think the Fex-fabric ports as a internal path between N5K and N2K, just like the path between supervisor and a line card. You don't need to configure trunk or access mode on it.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback,

David.
