Registration Rejected: DBConfig

I get a Registration Rejected: DBConfig when I try to open an IP Communicator on the Desktop. I have put in the SEP in front of the MAC(Computer MAC that the IP Comm Resides ON) and still get this error.

Any suggestions?

Hi

Right click in the CIPC window and click 'preferences'. On one of the tabs the identifier is displayed; it may have bound to an unexpected MAC-address. Usually you're best to apply a name to the device rather than use the MAC (e.g. name it after the laptop's user or hostname).

What is the version of CM?

What is the version of CIPC?

Have you disabled firewalls on the system?

Note: Device name on CIPC should match that on the CM for CIPC.

Hi Mojo

Also can You make sure that if Auto-reg is enabled on the call manager group, and note the DN range allocated. Now go to Route Plan Report and search for unassigned DN's and delete all.

See if it helps.

Thanks
