ESX Trunk ports CATOS

I used the following command to setup trunk ports to my ESX Server both Broadcom and INtel NICS

set trunk 1/14 nonegotiate dot1q

set spantree portfast 1/14 enable

But when I run

sh trunk

I see that other ports are using "on" instead of "nonegotiate" and also the other trunk ports have native vlan at 1. and this trunk port I configured at native vlan 50. Any idea why?

Hi,

if I remember correctly from the CatOS times, the other ports are having

set trunk x/y on dot1q

configured probably.

Regarding your second question:

The native VLAN is configured by

set VLAN z x/y

command in CatOS.
