Hi,
In my 7606 machine,WS-F6K-DFC3A daughter card doesnot recognise.It will say powerdown.Can anybody give me a solution.

I believe your 7600 (or 6500) is currently running in PFC3B mode so it will not powerup a module with a DFC3A. If you want the DFC3A module to be recognized then you will need to reload the chassis but do keep in mind that the PFC will operate in 3A mode as it is the lowest common mode amongst all installed modules. Any caveats that apply to the PFC-3A mode will apply to your system when it is reloaded and comes in 3A mode.
By the way you can check the operating PFC mode by using the 'show platform hardware pfc mode' command.
