Hi All,

Got a question regards cluster comparison..

What's the pros and cons of a single cluster versus a dual cluster?

Currently have Dual cluster of 5000  and 1000 endpoints and want to know what are the benefits or disadvantages of moving to single cluster?

Any thoughts?

Hi,

Some of the benefits of single UCM cluster is: Single point of administration for users within the cluster, Feature transparency, Unified dial plan. If all the servers in cluster  exists on the LAN. If the servers need to deployed across the WAN network then dedicated bandwidth need to be maintained within certain round trip delay but you cant take this as a drawback of the solution as this gives you failover/redundancy in case of geographical disasters.
