Hi all,
I have a CUCM ver 6.1.2.1002-1 and I have installed the device pack cmterm-devicepack6.1.2.1131-1.cop.sgn and rebooted the CUCM.
I still dont have the option under the new phone drop down to selcet the 7925. I have also noticed that under the software option in OS administration that the device pack is not showing, even if it installed fine.
Anyone had the same thing? Any help would be great.

Hi Paul,
It looks like a later CUCM version may be required;
Before installing the firmware, use Table 1 below to verify that your Cisco Unified Communications Manager supports the Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7925G. If your Cisco Unified Communications Manager does not support the Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7925G, you will need to upgrade to a Cisco Unified Communications Manager release that supports the phone and/or install a device pack that will add the support for the phone.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for your reply.
haha just found out my customer had uploaded the firmware .cop file instead of the devicepack file.
He has now uploaded the correct device pack file and the 7925 is an option now but the phone will not register, I guess It will work after a reboot of the CUCM.
I will let you know.

Good stuff Paul
Yes, after a Cluster-wide re-boot you should be good to go.
Cheers!
Rob
