Manipulate Incoming and Outgoing Calls: MGCP PRI Gateways

Giovanni Ceci

Hello all,

I have two 2911 Gateways that will be deployed for a new site. The gateways are both registered as MGCP gateways. The client has requested that outgoing calls from the site go through 1 gateway, and incoming calls to the site go through another. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Thanks,

neocec

Configure both GWs in CUCM but just configure one of them with a route group and route list for the route patterns for outbound calls.

Making sure that all the calls arrive in the other GW is something you need to discuss with your telco so they map your DIDs to that trunk.

Are you you at least familiar (evidently you are not certified) with CM configuration ?

You know, suggesting that I am not certified first off is not helpful, and downright insulting. If you don't have anything positive to post, don't post anything at all.

Wow., touched a weak point or something ?

Good luck, with such an attitude, you will need a lot.
