Are you trying to connect PIX506E to the IAD2400 router? Looking at the router specs, there is an ethernet port, so i don't see a reason why PIX506E wouldn't be compatible with the router.

You can connect the router ethernet interface in the same vlan as the PIX506E ethernet interface.

Hope that answers your question.

Thanks for the reply.

how would I enable the web ionterface for this 506E?

At the end, I am trying to get the IAD to 506E then to router.

Here is the command to enable the web interface:

http server enable

Then depending on which interface you would like to access the PIX from, you would need to configure the access accordingly:

http > <subnet_mask>

Hope that helps.
