CUCME User Interface with CUE 8.0 and Extension Mobility

Hi,

I have recently deployed UCME 8.0 with CUE 8.0. I am using extension mobility which all works fine but when a user logs into the web interface there is no option to configure the phone (speed dials etc). A user can browse to the IP Address of the CUE and log in but it only displays vm related information. On previous deployments using earlier versions of software and no extension mobility, users can login and set speed dials and fast dials. Is this purely because I'm using EM and if so is there a way around this so users have a mechanism for making changes to their phone?

Thanks in advance.

Les.

Hi Les,

I think what you are seeing is related to the change in behavior

with CUE 8. It removes the visibility to CME Phone/features via

the CUE gui

You can now set speed and fast dial from the phone itself, thanks heaven GUI is no more necessary.

Hi Rob,

I checked whilst onsite yesterday and users can log in to the UCME GUI and amend speed dials and phone settings.

Thanks,

Les.
