Hi I've got 3 vertically created videos and I followed the steps in documentation to make it plays vertically but it keeps running horizontal.
I changed the Screen Rotation Angle to 90 in DMP, adjusted parameters in DMP Display Dimensions (which honestly I ignore what values type in, I just overwrite horizontal values for vertical), also changed orientation in Desiger but nothing changes.
Hope someone has a step by step solution for this.
Keep in mind that the videos were created in vertical.
Best regards!

Before working with the videos...
Try creating a Vertical Presentation in DMD with a playlist
of Portrait JPEGs... Deploy the Prezo to the DMP with the
rotated screen and see if that plays the prezo and displays
the playlist in vertical format.
Once this is successful add the video content and see if it
plays correctly. Another thing to try is ftp the video file
directly to the DMP and play the local file directly outside
the DMD prezo to see if it works correctly...
Let us know how it goes!

Hi Tom,
I just followed up your instructions and it still not work, right now it is "playing" a vertical presentation locally but the videos are shown horizontal with black bars in both sides since it was created vertically.
Also, I tested with an stand-alone DMP and when I rotate the screen and then play the videos the screen cuts one side and leaves it blank, also cuts part of the videos which are played vertically eventhoug I rotated the display 90°.
Is this version related issue or something like that, cause since I've been working with 5.2 I have had sevaral and unexplicable problems.
Regards!

Is the video large?
If less the 50mb, please upload video here so I can
see and test in my lab.
If larger then 50mb, see if you can clip a portion of the
original to lower the file size and then upload for my
review.
Thanks

Hi Tom,
I am using mpeg 2 TS, you know what anyways I cannot send this videos because they are protected by a confidentiality contract.
Could you provide the step by step process to have a DMP and display running vertically.
Regards.

It appears that you have the steps down if your presentation is playing in portrait
and not landscape. That is why I need the video to test and look at the
characteristics.
Please download the mediainfo tool and send me the TEXT output of
the video file(s) in question.
Thanks!

Hi Tom,
Sorry for the delay in thisone.
Finally I got the videos precessed in different way so that I had no need to rotate screen, well I had to but physically lol
I think I'll continue to work on this later and I may open a case if needed.
Regards! and thank you for your help!
