Platform Unicast errors

Hi All,

We have couple of WS-C3750V2-48PS running on Version 12.2(52)SE stacked .

From last few days I observed that there are lot of logs related with platform unicast:

%PLATFORM_UCAST-4-PREFIX: One or more, more specific prefixes could not be programmed into TCAM and are being covered by a less specific prefix, and the packets may be software forwarded

Could you please provide what needs to be done. The current sdm template is desktop default

This indicates that the switch is hitting its TCAM limitation with the
routing table. 

In order to change your sdm template to "routing" please issue the following command from the
configuration terminal.

-sdm prefer routing

This should allocate more resources for layer 3 routing to the TCAM and you
should not get any more of those error messages.

Hi,

Did you find a solution to your problem ?

Our of my customer is observing the same issue. Many route with /32 mask cannot be programmed

in TCAM and we cannot what happens.
