Rogue Policies - auto contain

Unanswered Question

I've been playing around with auto-contain. I have "using our SSID" checked. If you have an external WAP with the same SSID and you know it is valid, is there any way not to auto-contain it? I've tried to set a particular WAP to a "Friendly External," but it still appears to auto-contain. Is there a way to set (or settings) that would allow auto contain to stay enabled, yet have some external WAPs not be auto contained?

Or, is there a way to be notified when our WAPs see external WAPs broadcasting the same SSIDs? I would of assumed that this would be something the WCS would do by default.

I have this problem too.

Which version of WLC you are running?

Have you tried adding the mac address of the Friendly Rogue AP on the WLC and check if it is still auto-contained?

on WLC GUI --> Security ->Wireless Protection -> Rogue Policies -> Friendly rogue.
