Hi mahesh,

There is an internal logic to determine output port/ports in Catalyst6500 system

and some other products that is refered as Local Target Logic (LTL).

When you configure a port-channel and assign physical port/ports, a LTL will be allocated to

the port-channel and the physical port/ports will be programmed in the LTL.

Logical slot 14 is reservid for port-channels, 15 is reserved for primary supervisor and

16 is for secondary supervisor.

TAC or engineering team check them when doing some type of troubleshooting but

it is not important for most of users.

Kimihito.
