UCS 6100 and C series servers

Can a 6100 be used today like a 5000 to support Unified IO for UCS-C servers with CNA adapters?  I would rather order a 6100 today in anticipation of UCS-C support but would like to at least implement Unified I/O on it now.  Or am I stuck waiting or buying a Nexus 5000?

Currently (as of 10/01/2010) you cannot connect any standalone server (Cisco or non Cisco) to the UCS 6100's.

Yes that will change as what you correctly stated with the next release.

Not sure of your timeline..you are correct in stating that you will have to start with the Nexus 5000 if its immediate.

Thanks
