Bladeswitch and VLAN's above 1000

The baldeswitch:

Cisco IOS Software, CBS31X0 Software (CBS31X0-UNIVERSAL-M), Version 12.2(40)EX3, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3)

Is configured in VTP mode client, and on the vtp server I have defined vlan 12xx, but those vlans are not shown on the bladeswitch.

When defining vlans below vlanid 1000, the client receives the vlan update.

Sh vtp status on the client and the server shows the same number og vlans and the same revision number.

But the bladeswitch are running VTP version1 while the server runs v2.

How can I get vlans above 1000 propageted to the bladeswitch?  Or are there limitations on the bladeswitch?

Support for extended VLAN  Database Propagation—In VTP version 2, VLAN configuration information is  propagated only for VLANs numbered 1 to 1000. In VTP version 3,  information also is propagated for extended-range VLANs (VLANs numbered  1006 to 4094).

Thanks for the quick reply.

I guess I have to change to vtp v3, or vtp v2 and transparent for the bladeswitch.  This will work, right?
