My question is: I will have packets that come from sw1 to a server, its possible to make load balancing on the switch in order to he decided if the packet goes to server 1 or server 2?

I cannot see how can be possible if the servers will have differents ip address.

Can anyone explain please?

Thanks in advance,

Tiago

Here is the configuration guide for server load balancing, if your switch supports it.

If you do not have a CCO, use this link:

You have two options; Server Load Balancing (SLB) on the higher end switches or the Application Control Engine (ACE).

Hope it helps.
