Hello,

I try to reconfigure a 8 ports t1 blade on a catalyst 6000.

this actual config :

#module 2 : 8-port T1
set port voice interface  2/1 dhcp disable 10.3.1.41/255.255.255.0 vlan 8 tftp 10.3.1.2 gateway 10.3.1.1

and then...everytime i try to paste the same line but with new ip adresses:

i get a:

Failed to set interface for port(s) 2/1
(Port host processor not online)

i am unable to change the config on my 8port t1 blade

switch has been moved to another building (with care)

i tried rebooting the whole switch, reseating the blade.... resetting the blade

still unable to reconfig

Got an idea ?

Thanks

Issue the "show port 2" command and post your output.  The Status field shows Layer 2 status of the ports. Possible values are: notconnect, connected, disabled, and faulty. Ports that display "faulty" on a 6608 T1 blade are typically the same ports that indicate "processor not online".

use tracy_start command

tracy_start module port

and see if theres some activity (will help you to debug)

try DHCP and make sure other ports not in use are disabled as they share the same HW and if not disabled may cause other ports to reset ot start
