Whatsup Gold supports SNMP v1-3.

If you use v1 or v2c, in order to get MIBs from a router or  switch

only you need to configure are ip address and following  line

in global configuration mode.

"snmp-server community "

If  you need specific requirement other than just getting MIBs,

you  can find information about snmp part in following urls.

You can easly find documents for your IOS  version or for products from here.

Select your IOS release and go "Configuration Guide and  Command Reference",
