May I solicit help via this community on how one goes about deleting ICM scripts?

During my attempts to delete active scripts via Script Explorer I notice that scripts appear to have references to other scripts/nodes that prohibit my deleting them.

Can some colleague provide a best-practice solution for deleting scripts in their entirety?

My reason for delting these scripts is that I need to free-up some ECC variables for future scripting scenarios.
