Need help accessing SRW2024P Switch...

Hi.

I am new to networking and am trying to solve this.

I recently created a VLAN on my SRW2024P. It promptly disconnected me from Webview IP, (Which was in fact 192.168.16.254 for this set up).

Now I cant gain access to the switch.

I reset the switch with power off - no access.

I have tried Hypterm with a com cable (I have a com port on my Toughbook). This is not a console cable...Does it need to be?

With the correct setting on COM 1, I can see the POST and Boot (which all pass). However, when it displays "Press Enter to for Main Menu", thats as far as it goes. Enter does nothing. I cannot get a login screen.

I have tried Power on off several times. I have no 45s in the switch. It is clean.

IS this a cable or port issue....Any help much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
