So I just read that Asterix has opted to replace the Music on Hold they have bundle with the server with some selections from a web site called Opsound.com. This site offers music shared by the musician under the CC-by-AS 2.5 license, which means free to share and retransmit without royalty, "Open" music much like Open Software. The only problem with Asterix selections is the are not very good. There are much better options out at that site.
Specifically, I have loaded several selections from a artist called The Dejunair Project. If you are looking for MoH selections beyond the Cisco canned options, check these out.

I support the ideas presented in this thread! (I hear enough of the stock Cisco MoH on a daily basis as it is!) :-D

I'm partial to Muzak, especially the Feedback channel: http://music.muzak.com/music/programs/genre/13/rock/
