cisco protectlink gateway / trendmicro imhs

Unanswered Question

I need to setup a rule in my cisco sa520/ sa540  firewalls to only accept trafic smtp from trendmicro servers to my internal email servers, I can only add single addresses or ranges, is there any way to add several ip's and ranges to a single rule.

Hi Mikel,

May I ask the reason that you need to set up firewall rules to
enforce the email security ? If you have the protectlink license
on your SA520, your email should be protected by SA520/Protectlink.

Currently, you can only do single ip or range for the firewall rule.

We are using trendmicro imhs now called trendmicro hosted email secur

ity, this service is basically the same than cisco protectlink

, I need to only allow smtp trafic into my server from

the trendmicro servers addresses, actually there 4 ip ra

nges.  I think that allowing to filter trafic from several ip's or ranges is not an advanced feature, also would be great to enter groups of ip's and group of services as the asa 5505 do.

thanks
