Hi to all,
can a sip 7931 phone monitor sip lines? We are working with cme 7.1 and cannot make it work.
I tried with blf speed dials but not work.
I think that the 7931 sip phone does not support this feature.
Thanks for your help

according to this thread it is possible:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/285098
Furthermore, have you assigned SUBSCRIBE CSS to all the DNs that you want to monitor

Hi Dennis,
first, thanks for your response.
Finally i got what i wanted but i just have a little problem:
With 7931 sip phone i can monitor 7 sip lines configuring the voice register pool as 7970 and loadind the 7931 file as 7970. Under the voice register global I have no choice to load the file as 7931. The load 7931 option does not appear. How could i enable this option to monitor more lines?
Thanks and sorry for my english

7931 is supported with CME using SCCP/Skinny protocol only..
that's why you do not have "load" (under voice register global) or
"type" (under voice register pool) CLI's for this 7931 when trying
to use SIP FW.
Pl. checkout CME 7.1 spec at:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/requirements/guide/cme71spc.htm
For CUCM installation, you can use 7931 with SIP load:
You may be able to get a 7931 XML file from the CUCM, edit to a bit and TFTP it over
the CME's flash but it will still be unsupported officially.
