Unity Express number announcement

Hi all,


we have a unity express version 7.x.


When i receive a voicemail from an internal number, the prompt is "you have received a voicemail from "Name" at "Number".

From external callers, i always receive a "you have received a voicemail from - "UNKNOWN NUMBER".


My Question is: Is this a normal behaviour ?

I thought if cue is able to resolve the internal number to an announcement, why is this not working vor external callers ?

Hi Steffen,


You may be missing the "voicemail callerid" command in CUE.  Try the following:


CLI:



ser ser x/x sess 


enable

conf t

voicemail callerid

end

wr

exit


GUI:


Voice Mail -> VM Configuration -> Play caller ID for external callers


Test.
