Incoming calls beep on current calls--like a call waiting function. Is there a way to turn this off?

New UC540 install in the last two weeks.  Has current software load.  Can this be done in CCA?  Thanks, Chad

I don't think this can be done with CCA, but try adding huntstop channel to the ephone-dn.

Hello Chad,

To disable a directory number from accepting call-waiting requests use the command no call-waiting beep accept at the ephone-dn.

Here is a an example.

UC540#conf t

UC540(config)#ephone-dn xx (where xx = the DN number)
UC540(config-ephone-dn)#no call-waiting ?
  beep  Call-waiting beep in the earphone or speakerphone
  ring  Call-waiting ring on the phone base (instead of beep in the earphone or
        speakerphone)

UC540(config-ephone-dn)#no call-waiting beep accept
