SLM224P Resets Time to Default After Reboot

One of my clients has two SLM224P switches with the latest firmware available on Cisco's web site (2.0.0.10 firmware and 1.0.4 boot code).  Whenever these switches are rebooted, the configuration stays intact, but the time resets back to 7/1/2009.  Does anyone else have this problem and/or is there a fix for it?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Hi,

Same problem here. Both with old (1.something) and new 2.0.0.10 firmware, the SLM does not support any time server protocol (NTP, SNTP, daytime, anything). Another feature request to Cisco on the Linksys series switches...

Can be a pain in the arse... I had to configure my syslog-ng server to overwrite the timestamp in the syslog messages from my SLM box.

Cheers,

Tamas

Hi,

Did you get the firmware?

I need SLM224g firmware 2.0.0.10 or 1.0.x.

I don't know if the SLM224P firmware fits the SLM224G.

But I would like to try the upgrade!

Can you make the firmware available?

Regards,
