UCS install new license

Hello,

When i install a new license a port within grace period, do i need to reset the swicth or re-enable the port?

Hi, Guys:

May I know what is the process likes can it be done online and lead time to get the new license for UCS 1.4(x)?

Also, what is the steps to install the license as for UCS 1.3(x), all ports are free?

Nope, when you install the new licence in each FIM it is added to the total number of licenced ports. Since the licence is tied to the FIM serial number, install the correct licence to the correct FIM and your good once you activate the licence. Remember the first 8 ports used are free and any after that need a licence

The grace period is 90 days for unlicenced ports. I have attached the proceedure for importing the licence.
