sip peer to peer behind nat router!

Hi all

I have deployed my first uc320, any everything ok so far, ive tested the sip trunks with them on register mode and all works. But i was wondering if i could get the sip trunks to work on peer or direct mode. I have tried it and outgoing calls are fine but on incoming there is no audio. My ISP has a static address so i have port forwarding enabled for ports 5060, 5061 and ive pointed them to the WAN IP address of the uc320, do i need to forward the RTP ports as well? if so which ones, also do i tick the NAT mapping options.

Be good to know if this can be done or not, as sip peering seems to be better for bandwidth and quailty.

Thanks

Dave

Hi David,

RTP port range to forward is UDP 16384 - 16482.
