license and hardware changing

Hi!

Lets see on this situation:

I bought a 5500 series ASA and SecPlus license for example. Suddenly my ASA hardware got broken and changed for a new one. What about my old license? How i could activate this license on new ASA?

Hi Vyacheslav,

If you have your RMA number, then send these info to our licensing team:

RMA number

Old serial number

New serial number

send it to licensing@cisco.com

and they woudl revert back to you with the new license.
