Enable mls qos trust dscp in interface of router 2821

Hi friends,

I have a problem with the command mls qos trust dscp, I used the ios c2800nm-ipvoice_ivs-mz.124-25f.bin but i can not enable dont show me the complete command in the interface Ethernet o Giga. example

router(config-if)#mls ?

I want to configuring mls qos trust dscp but i dont kown, meybe i have firt configuring in globlal configuration...

Can you help me..

Hi Marco

In L3 and routers these commands not used as in the router you just match, mark or remark ip tos header in L3 which is either the ip precedence or dscp value in other words you do not need to do trust on the router trust works on edge switches and uplink L2 trunks only

You can match the marked traffic coming to the router then apply the required traffic treatment to it such queueing, policing or remarking

You might need to mark the traffic in the incoming interface of the router and this can be done by using, ACL, class maps and policy maps see the bellow links for more details
