We have found SRW2016 switch in our server room and would like to use this valuable piece of equipment. Previous sysadmin did not leave any documentation or records about its configuration and passwords. So we had to reset this switch, we tried to do that via console interface, but each time we tried to connect a null-modem cable to the SRW2016 serial port - the switch shut down and got back to work only after the serial cable disconnection.

What is wrong with it? Or we did something wrong?

Is it possible to repair this switch?
