Hi
I am planning to upgrade my present 7.0 version of my CUCM to the latest 8.5 CUCM. What are the step by step process of this activity and the procedure to do this sucessfully. Do i have to purchase new license for this upgradation ? Is there a direct upgrade path ? What is the downtime required for this ? Please reply......

Upgrading to Cisco Unified Communications Manager Release 8.0(1) from Release 6.1(2) and Later
Yes you will need a new feature license. This will require an active UCSS contract which will entitle you to place an order in PUT.
