UC320 support for phone on remote subnet

Hi all,

I have a site with main office and 2 users at a remote site connected by a high speed wan. I would like to add a couple of phones there and get them to connect to the UC320.

Does anyone know if this is possible? Without trying I'm not sure how to get the routing working, as I don't think I can connect a phone via the WAN interface, and there is no way to add routes to the LAN interface side is there?

Also what would be required for dhcp to tell the phone where the UC320 is?

Have seen a post before on this subject, but it woudl be good if this device had the option of running in appliance mode (without WAN).

Thanks, Simon.

This isn't possible today.  You will need what we are referring to as Teleworker functionality, which we have currently targetted for early next year.

The appliance mode request is also something that we are working on, but it doesn't really help in this case anyway.

Cheers,

Dave.
