Hi,
we just got the VCS with Starter pack.
The problem is that we can not register our Movi version 4.2 10318 clients on the VCS with Starter pack.
It has this options:
0 Non Traversal Calls, 5 Traversal Calls, 50 Registrations, 900 TURN Relays, Expressway, Encryption, FindMe, Starter Pack.
We always get a login failed error. It says Wrong username, domain, and/or password.
But I use definately the right credentials and domain.
I made an A record on our local DNS server - sip.domain.local and configured under SIP configuration this domain, too.
My PC resolves the hostname.
This is the error log:
Module="
" Level="
": Dst-ip="
" Dst-port="
" Detail="
Do you have an idea what could be the problem?

Hi,
check in your Zones, Default SubZone, and in your Default SubZone , if your Movi is trying to authenticate there, if the authentication policy is not "Do not check credentials".

I managed to solve the authenticaion problem, but now we have an another error.
Now it says Login failed due to registration failure. Contact IT support
This is the network log

Hi smailmilak,
have you verified that the Movi PC is able to resolve the Starter Pack cluster name in DNS, either by A-record or SRV-record, and that this cluster name points to the IP address of the Starter Pack VCS?

Hi,
yes it resolves the hostname.
Ping sip resolves the hostname with IP 10.5.10.125. I made an A record on our local DNS server.
I created SRV records, too.
For sip (UDP, TCP) and sips (UDP, TCP) with target sip.versobh.local.
Could the message "Call ID" in the logs be the problem?

Hi,
A call ID will be present in any SIP request and is perfectly normal. As further troubleshooting of this issue will require taking logs from the VCS, and since these logs should not be posted to this forum, you probably want to open a case with TAC for this issue.
Best regards
Andreas
