We purchased a SRP527W for test purposes.
The product cannot detect ADSL line.
CD light is off.
The line works fine with an 877 router, so we assume that this is not a line problem.
Any help will be appreciated.
Firmware version 1.1.24
Thanks

Under Status -->Status ADSL --> Status ADSL
DSL Status: G.994 Training
DSL Modulaion Mode: NOT TRAINED
Does that mean that the ADSL interface is unavailable to detect DSL connection from provider?
Is it a defect interface port?
I downgraded the firmware version to 1.1.23 and I was able to get connected to my ISP.
Unfortunately the router can' t get an IP address (WAN Interface).
Any Help?

Have you checked to make sure that the DSL Interface is Enabled on the device? Check under the Administration Tab
and then under Switch Setting.

Hi,
Please also check the line modulation setting for the ADSL interface.
Normally, this should be set for multimode, which automatically detects the line type. You might need to set this manually though to meet your specific needs.

Thank you for your response.
We use a 877 router, is working perfect with the line.
We used correct setting for the DSL interface.
ADSL2+,
8/35,
and the interface is enabled.
Maybe a hardware failure.

It's always a possibility.
Could you log in to the SRP500 GUI, then change the URL in the address bar to read:
http://192.168.15.1/dsldiag.asp
This will show a "hidden" status page that might offer more clues.
